Posada Jacó is a small, hotel of 6 spacious rooms located in the popular beach town of Jaco Costa Rica. There is much to say about us: the hotel, its rooms and the people who work here. What makes its location special is that it is located on a quiet side street. There is minimal traffic or town noise at the hotel yet it is only a short 25 meter walk to the main street.
Posada Jaco Pool
Each room at Posada Jacó overlooks the pool. Several suites also have Jaco beach views. Each suite offers a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric cook-top, refrigerator and microwave oven. All units in our hotel in Jaco have air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, wireless internet and a safe. A telephone is available for guests.

About Jaco Beach
Jaco beach boasts 2.5 miles of fine volcanic, cinnamon-colored sand and is regarded as the definitive surf mecca of the Central Pacific coast.
The town of Jacó and Jaco beach is the closest, readily accessible beach from San José. It holds its reputation of being the “fun and sun” spot on the Pacific coast. Jacó is considered the liveliest and most developed beach town featuring endless shopping, international restaurants, nightclubs, and casinos with all amenities anyone might need.
Since the new highway was completed, the trip from San José to Posada Jaco Hotel can be made in 75 minutes, barring no traffic snarls.
Temperatures average between 85 and 90* F during the day and 75 to 80* F at night. Such weather provides ideal year-round beach activities. Jaco beach is an ideal beach to indulge yourself with a plethora of activities. Whatever your desire, Posada Jaco hotel can likely make it happen for you.
At Jacó beach Costa Rica surfing is a way of life for many. The waves are consistent, with very healthy left and right breaks year round. These are ideal conditions for beginners and less experienced surfers. For the “hard-core” surfer, 5 minutes south of our hotel, the infamous Playa Hermosa is home to the International Quicksilver Championship and many other international surfing competitions.
The town of Jaco caters to the needs of travelers of all age groups with a variety of activities. For the nature lover, within one hour of our hotel there are several national parks replete with exotic birds, endangered animals and exquisite tropical plants and flowers.
